The Main Event of SURGE is a multi-purpose night.  It is meant to be an all-around youth event that encourages all 5 of our purposes and is both fun and educational.  Your participation is what makes The Main Event happen!

What Happens on FRIDAY Night?

 

Well that's a tough question really!  The real answer is who knows?  It's always changing but the goals remain the same.  Generally a Main Event will contain these elements (but not always). 

Begin with a simple social game or hang out time (10-20min)
Transition into a time of announcements and
Followed by a time of worship
Followed by a message from God's word!
Closing with a huge game or activity!

The uth cafe is a social time that follows youth from 9-10pm for those who don't want to go home after only 2 hours.  The idea of the uth cafe is to eventually have a cafe style hang out time with games and activities but for the time being we are just hanging out in the new empty building so we have to improvise.  Keep watching for new developments.
